Chicago Rib House- The City of Steaks and Ribs

My favourite restaurant for pork ribs; Chicago Rib House,Gurney Plaza (Ground floor).If you havent been here before,you should definitely give it a try for 'CHICAGO'S WORLD FAMOUS PORK RIBS'.I first came here a few years ago and immediately fell in love with the food.But unfortunately they changed the original menu and frankly i think the food here has degraded abit but still satisfactory :)

i like how they renovated the place though,much brighter and spacious and look,FULLHOUSE!so it was a good thing we booked a table before coming :D if you want to book a table,simply call 04-229 0763 :)

Menu

what's on their menu?starters,salads,ribs,steaks,chicken,pasta,pizza,burgers,desserts,non-alchoholic and alchoholic beverages 

So in the menu we just ordered 3 main dishes and bottomless soft drinks because the portion is really huge and we'll be too full if we order starters or desserts and there's the fact that the food here is quite pricey loll.so here we go

Chili Pork Bolognese Pasta (RM 23.90)

we were off to a bad start because this tasted as bad as it looked.it looked way way better than what it looked like in the menu :/ we were all quite disappointed when this came to the table,especially my brother who ordered it.he even said that i could've cooked better so it must mean it really really sucked.two thumbs down!!so if you want to try their pasta maybe order their carbonara,aglio olio or seafood pasta :)

Famous Pork Ribs &  7oz Striploin (RM 49.90)

Flavour: Flaming Kansas City.that's why this looks so burnt and black because they literally torched it lol.the taste?pretty average..

oh nothing....just you know the waiter setting fire to our food loll.btw this flaming costs an extra RM 6 -_-

Sides

every pork ribs dish/combo comes with 2 sides so this is baked potato with sour cream,bacon bits and cheddar cheese and beer battered fries

Famous Pork Ribs & Grilled Salmon (RM 49.90)

last but not least mine! :p Flavour: Original BBQ.my pork ribs and grilled salmon were perfect <3 and my all time favourite two sides,mashed potato and baked potato,both with BACON BITS and CHEDDAR CHEESE.i was extremely satisfied with mine because i know the right thing to order AHAHAH

'CHICAGO'S WORLD FAMOUS PORK RIBS'

Although the pasta was quite disapponting,the ribs were still really good.Idk about everyone else but i think the ribs here are better compared to Morganfield's or Chili's :) Chicago's Original BBQ Pork Ribs will always be my favourite :D

Green Tea KitKat

yay!!hahahha.this is actually my first time trying this and it's really good!you can get it from Cold Storage at RM18.99 for 12 mini packets of mini green tea kitkats ^^ must try!!
